DESCRIPTION:Free summer camp for ages 14-18 in Zion National Park open to 20 students.\n\n\nZION YOUTH STEWARD CAMP \nMEETING LOCATION: WATCHMAN CAMPGROUND \nThe Zion Youth Stewards camp will provide youth with hands-on experiences at Zion National Park\, teaching them about wilderness stewardship and outdoor recreation. Participants will engage in activities like Leave No Trace education\, skill-building workshops\, and adventure hikes\, while forming lasting connections to the park. Through this program\, youth will gain practical knowledge\, develop leadership skills\, and receive a certificate of completion\, which can be valuable for future job applications or college admissions. \nPhotography will be done at the event and used to promote the new program. Participant(s) and guardians of participant(s)\, hereby grant and authorize the right to take\, edit\, copy\, exhibit\, publish\, distribute\, and make use of any and all video/content taken of participant during the event\, to be used in and/or for any lawful purpose. \nWaiver required for participation. \nSIGN WAIVER HERE \n \n\nFood will be provided for participants during the the 2 day camp\nTents will be provided for participants\n\nParticipants should have their own \n\nsleeping bag\, pillow\nsturdy shoes to hike in\nappropriate clothing for hikes and camping\ntransportaion to and from the event
